About

Born in Viterbo in 1997, Lucrezia Liberati has embarked on a musical journey continually enriched by exploration nurtured within diverse artistic and cultural contexts. Along this path, she moved to Livorno at the age of 17 to complete her academic studies with honours and special mention under the guidance of Daniel Rivera and Maurizio Baglini at the Mascagni Conservatoire. She then moved to Lucerne, where she currently resides, refining her skills with Konstantin Lifschitz at the Hochschule Luzern – Musik in Switzerland, where she was admitted to the Master’s in Solo Performance. She made her debut in June 2025 at the prestigious KKL Auditorium in Lucerne with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester conducted by Francesco Cagnasso, performing the rare Concerto in A minor by Ottorino Respighi. In May 2024, her first CD was released with Da Vinci Classics, entitled Crossing Roads, which unites, in a single journey, the music of composers Adolf von Henselt, Clara Wieck-Schumann and Theodor Döhler. The disc has been reviewed by specialist magazines such as International Piano and Piano News, and her performances have been broadcast by Rai Radio 3 and on television programmes on Rai 5. She has participated in prestigious festivals such as Tiroler Festspiele Erl in Austria, Piano City Milano, Cremona Musica, Roma Tre Orchestra, Pontedera Music Festival, Classica Festival Note sul Mare in Ischia, Orbetello Piano Festival, Il suono di Liszt at Villa d’Este. In addition, she has performed in Rome at the Teatro Palladium and Palazzo Primoli, at the Teatro Comunale Verdi in Pordenone, in the Ridotto of Teatro Ponchielli and at Palazzo Grasselli in Cremona; in the Salone dei Cinquecento in Florence, at the Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, at the E. F. Dall’Abaco Conservatoire in Verona, in the Tempio della Rotonda in Rovigo, at the Abbey of S. Galgano, in the Casinò dei Giuochi and at the Teatro Accademico in Bagni di Lucca, at the Bosco Fontana in Marmirolo. She was invited to perform on the occasion of the Cremona Musica Awards 2025 being presented to the composer Francesco Filidei at the G. Arvedi Auditorium of the Museo del Violino in Cremona. She has performed as a soloist with the Roma Tre Orchestra conducted by Sieva Borzak, with the Orchestra of the Teatro Goldoni under Mario Menicagli, and with the Camerata Musicale del Gentile with Lorenzo Sbaffi as conductor. A finalist in the fourteenth edition of the Premio Nazionale delle Arti, she has won first prize in national and international competitions including Città di Firenze Premio Crescendo, Hella Siegrist Fonds and Silio Taddei Rotary Club Livorno. For chamber music, she has collaborated with Maurizio Baglini, Luca Betti, Guglielmo Pellarin, Daniel Rivera, Giulia Sanguinetti and Paolo Antonio Tommasi. Her interest in lesser-known repertoire and her affinity for literary content have come together in a research project on the composer Ottorino Respighi, thanks to which she was admitted to the PhD in Italian Piano Music at the F. Venezze Conservatoire starting from the 2024/25 academic year. Fascinated by the colours and universal messages of art, her artistic journey is an evolution towards nuances that unite music with literature, painting and photography.
